Our Board Chair and Interim President Michael Collins was interviewed on Good Day Atlanta on the 65th anniversary of the start of the Freedom Rides. He talked about Congressman Lewis’ legacy and the work of the foundation.
In March, we led thirty-five students on the John Lewis Legacy Trail, with stops in Montgomery, Selma and Troy, Alabama. In addition to the Edmund Pettus Bridge, and John Lewis’ childhood home, we also visited the Freedom Rides Museum in Montgomery.
