LAUNCH18 Civic Engagement Ambassador Application

Program Description

Ambassadors play a key role in promoting civic engagement among their peers both online and in person.

Responsibilities

Participate in approximately two planning meetings per month at the discretion of your LAUNCH18 Liaison;
Manage and promote civic engagement campaigns (with a particular emphasis on social media, school announcements and other marketing efforts);
Help set up, organize and lead voter registration assemblies at local schools and community events; and
Represent the spirit of John and Lillian Miles Lewis by encouraging active participation in democracy.

Requirements

Essay Questions and Short Answer Questions;
Two Teacher / Staff References; and
A copy of your Student ID

Additional Information

The Mandatory Orientation / Training is scheduled for September 13 at 7pm via Zoom.
If selected, students will receive a $500 stipend ($250 at the end of each semester)
